Airmail Shipping


If your purchase does not contain Amber Powder and the Order Total is More than 200$, then we provide Free Airmail Shipping.


Free Shipping - Baltic Amber

If Order Total is Less than 200$ or you have Amber Powder in you shopping cart, then shipping costs for all International Deliveries are estimated during the checkout based on the Total Order Weight.


Shipping Groups

Packages are dispatched as Registered Priority Airmail every day except for Weekends. You will be provided with a tracking number and a signature will be required upon the delivery.

We guarantee to ship all orders within maximum of 24 hours after receiving cleared payment, excluding orders made on Friday afternoon till Sunday.

All the items are shipped from our storage facilities in Lithuania or Poland, European Union.


Expedited Shipping


We offer DHL / Fedex international delivery. Shipping costs are 39.99 - 59.99$ and are estimated during checkout based on order total weight and destination country.

European customers can have GLS, DPD or POSTI as express carriers. Shipping costs are fixed - 29.99$. Delivery times depend on the country, but usually it is about 5 working days.

Tracking Shipments


24 hours after the shipment is made and confirmed by email, you can check its tracking number by visiting AmberPieces Delivery Tracker page and entering your name or surname in the search field. Whenever the package reaches your country, you will be able to see its status using your country's postal services webpage. We reccomend 17Track.net as a tool to track your package while it is in transit.


Delayed & Missing Shipments


While shipments are tracked, occasionally some still get delayed, but rarely are lost. The vast majority of "lost" shipments are merely delayed and do turn up. If your tracking info says the shipment has been delivered and you have not received it, contact the carrier directly. If the tracking number inputted to your local post website returns message "originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece" it means that the package is still in transit. You can always check the date of the dispatch here. If you do not receive the package in 30 days after it had been dispatched, please contact info@amberpieces.com and we will help you to track the shipment or fill an official claim at the post to track the delayed shipment. In case the package is confirmed lost and order value does not exceed 300$ - you will be issued a FULL REFUND. For orders over 300$ and/or shipments to risky destinations such as Africa, South America (especially Brazil) and Middle East, we do not guarantee the safe delivery and if the shipment is finally confirmed as lost you will be granted only insurance amount. In the following cases we recommend using courier services or splitting the order into multiple shipments. Airmail to Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, Nigeria, Sudan, Egypt, Syria, Jordan are just too risky for us to take responsibility for the delivery.

Other shipping issues can be traced back to incorrect addresses. Please make sure that your shipping address is up-to-date before placing your order. The customer is responsible for extra shipping costs if a package has been returned to Amber Pieces because it has been marked as "Unclaimed" or "Insufficient address" and we need to resend the order due to an address input error or recipients absence.


Customs duties


Although the parcel will be marked as a Gift, international buyers are responsible for customs duties and other taxes. Please read carefully our return policy.


Returns



General Return Procedure


It's our goal to make Amber Pieces a great experience for every amber lover. We're pretty sure that once you have amber from us in your hands, you'll be happy. However, if you're not thrilled with your purchase, let us know.

All return inquiries should be sent to info@amberpieces.com with the subject line "Return Inquiry:" followed by your Amber Pieces order number. Please be sure to retain all of the original packaging and materials that arrived with the art. We're sorry, but we cannot refund gift certificate purchases.

Inquiries about returns for a refund must be made within 30 days from the date your package was marked as delivered by the carrier.

Products with defects


We work closely with our members to make sure that every item is supreme quality and every item is inspected before shipping. Very, very rarely a flawed product is shipped to a customer; please inspect the content right after the package arrives. If you do spot a defect, please contact info@amberpieces.com for instructions and we will solve the issue immediatelly.


Damaged Deliveries


In the unfortunate event that your purchase has been damaged during transit, please contact info@amberpieces.com as soon as possible to rectify the situation. We require proof of damage via digital snapshot. As most of our products are unique, we usually can not replace damaged items, so we will either issue partial refund without asking you to return the damaged product or issue full refund on return. Every decision depends on the situation itself.


Unsuccessful Deliveries


Sometimes shipments are not successfully delivered to the recipient. There are multiple reasons for such issues, but the main ones are the following.

  • Insufficient or non-existing address.
  • Unsuccessful delivery due to recipient's absence at home and unwillingness to pick the package from local post office or re-arrange new delivery with the carrier.
  • The package is being checked by the customs and recipient refuses to deal with customs procedures.

In all such cases we process the refunds only when the package is returned back to us by the carrier. All shipping costs are non-refundable and the customer is provided an option to decide whether the shipment needs to be re-shipped or money refunded.
